In Ladies division 1, the title appears to be between Church Broughton 1 an defending champions, Derbyshire Tennis Centre. The two were scheduled to meet on July 21st. At the other end, the newly promoted teams, Ashbourne 1 and Rolls-Royce 1 are both set to go back down.
Last season, Ladies division 2 was the closest of all the divisions. This year it appears to have split in two. David Lloyd 2 are Champions with Duffield 2 also promoted. Darley Dale and Duffield 3 will be relegated back down to division 3.
D.Lloyd 3 are the unbeaten champions of Ladies division 3 with Ripley also promoted. Little Eaton and Belper Meadows 1 have unluckily been relegated despite registering 2 wins.
O&B 3 and Rolls-Royce 2 are joint winners of Ladies division 4 having been forced off by bad light with their title-deciding match level at 3 sets each. Both will be promoted.
In the Mens section, Duffield 1 have retained the division 1 title, despite a narrow defeat at David Lloyd. Duffield 2 have also had a good season, finishing 3rd with just 2 defeats - one to Duffield 1. Burton and Ripley are relegated.
Congratulations to O&B 1, who have secured promotion in Mens division 2 with 7 wins from 7. Congrats also to D.Lloyd 2, who have clinched the other promotion slot. At the other end, Rolls-Royce 2 and Darley Dale will be relegated.
In Mens division 3, Lakeside are Champions and O&B 2 are also promoted. Ripley 2 and New Watchorn will be relegated.
Duffield 4 have secured the Mens division 4 title winning all 7 matches and an impressive 50 sets in the process. Parwich have pinched 2nd place from Stanton. New Watchorn 2 & Little Eaton 1 will be relegated.
Ashbourne 3 have won Mens division 5, winning all 6 matches. Denstone 1 are also promoted. At the other end are Rolls-Royce 4 and Woodlands 3 have been relegated.
In Mens division 6, Melbourne and CURC 2 are promoted.
Unfortunately, it has been necessary for Littleover 1 to withdraw from Mixed Division 1. Of the remaining teams, Duffield 1 and defending champions Derbyshire TC are unbeaten and were scheduled to meet at the Tennis Centre on Sunday July 26th - alas this was postponed due to bad weather.
O&B 2 lead Mixed division 2 with 5 wins from 5 and will be promoted. The race to join them is between D.Lloyd 2, Woodlands 1 and Ashbourne 1. Darley Dale 1 and Rolls-Royce 2 are relegated.
D.Lloyd 3 and C.U.R.C. are promoted from mixed division 3, while New Watchorn 2 and Ashbourne 2 will be relegated.
Parwich 1 are Champions of mixed division 4 and Little Eaton 1 have also clinched promotion. D.Lloyd 4 and Darley Dale 2 will be relegated.
Belper Meadows 1 are Champions of mixed division 5 with O&B 3 also promoted.
